In jeder Produktion frage ich mich zuerst: Welche Stimmung soll der Zuschauer fühlen? Licht ist dabei mein wichtigstes Werkzeug. Durch gezielte Schatten, gerichtete Lichtquellen oder farbliche Akzente forme ich die Atmosphäre und gebe der Szene ihre Tiefe. Besonders in dynamischen Umgebungen – wie einer Boxhalle oder bei Events – nutze ich Gegenlicht, Nebel oder Reflexionen, um Silhouetten hervorzuheben und einen filmischen Look zu erzeugen.

Auch die Umgebung ist ein aktiver Teil meiner Bildsprache. Ich suche nach Strukturen, Bewegungen und Kontrasten, die eine Szene lebendig machen. Elemente wie Rauch, Glas, Metall oder natürliche Lichtbrechungen dienen mir als visuelle Verstärker.

In Kombination mit ruhiger, gezielter Kameraführung und einem Schnitt, der Atem, Timing und Rhythmus eines Moments unterstützt, entsteht eine Bildwelt, die über reine Beobachtung hinausgeht – authentisch, atmosphärisch und intensiv.

In every production, my first question is: what should the viewer feel? Light is my most important tool. With deliberate shadows, directional light sources or colored accents, I shape the atmosphere and give each scene its depth. Especially in dynamic environments – like a boxing gym or at events – I use backlight, haze or reflections to emphasize silhouettes and create a cinematic look.

The environment is an active part of my visual language, too. I look for textures, movement and contrast that bring a scene to life. Elements like smoke, glass, metal or natural light refractions act as visual amplifiers.

Combined with calm, purposeful camera work and an edit that supports the breath, timing and rhythm of a moment, the result is imagery that goes beyond mere observation – authentic, atmospheric and intense.
